ResponsibilitiesPediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist to provide per diem coverage at Wellington Regional Medical Center.
Your Role at a Glance
- Staffing Model:
- 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
- 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
- 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
- Responsibilities:
- Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
- Attend high-risk deliveries
- Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
About Wellington Regional Medical Center
WRMC is a 233-bed acute care hospital serving western Palm Beach County. It offers advanced neonatal intensive care through a 25-bed Level III NICU, with a focus on:
- Evidence-based protocols
- Neonatologist-attended high-risk deliveries
- Specialized care for 23–30 week premature infants
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
- Active FL license or IMLC required
