HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Pulmonology Critical Care Intensivist to join their busy and growing practice.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible in both Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to obtain Florida Medical License and DEA
- Comfortable with Interventional Pulmonology and Critical Care procedures
- Interest/training in navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS
- Team oriented and patient focused
- Group is willing to consider an exceptional, newly trained fellow

Fort Walton-Destin Hospital’s interventional pulmonary and bronchoscopy program:
- Produces over 200 robotic bronchoscopy procedures and over 350 EBUS procedures per year
- Among the highest volume utility of Monarch robot in the HCA national enterprise
- All year anesthesia support for all cases with no need for block time
- In-room cytopathy for rapid onsite evaluation and diagnosis
- Cryotherapy with 1.1 probes for cryobiopsy/ foreign body retrieval, argonplasma coagulation for tumor debulking and streamlined process for LMA utility with MAC anesthesia during flexible bronchoscopy to support procedural efficiency and safety
- Recent approval of purchase order for monarch quest upgrade with tool and lesion confirmation and Carm integration
- Designated bronchoscopy lab with experienced staff independent of endoscopy and OR
