HCA HealthONE Transplant Specialists is seeking an accomplished Surgical Director of Solid Organ Transplant Surgery to provide clinical and strategic leadership for our nationally recognized transplant program located at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's (PSL) in Denver, Colorado.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing transplant program with exceptional outcomes while helping shape the future growth of kidney, liver, and living donor transplantation throughout the Rocky Mountain region. The Surgical Director will partner closely with hospital leadership, multidisciplinary clinical teams, and regional stakeholders to advance program quality, innovation, growth, and physician engagement.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Serve as Surgical Director for a comprehensive solid organ transplant program
  • Lead strategic growth initiatives across kidney, liver, and living donor transplantation
  • Collaborate with experienced transplant surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Guide quality improvement efforts and maintain outstanding clinical outcomes
  • Opportunity to develop and expand a pancreas transplant program
  • Perform complex abdominal organ transplantation, hepatobiliary surgery, and advanced minimally invasive procedures
  • Practice at a tertiary referral center serving Colorado and surrounding states
  • Participate in living donor surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic donor procedures
Qualified Candidates
  • Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
  • Completion of an ASTS-accredited Transplant Surgery Fellowship
  • Eligible to serve as Primary Kidney and Liver Transplant Surgeon per UNOS requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in transplant surgery or transplant program administration
  • Strong commitment to quality, patient safety, and program development
  • Interest and expertise in HPB surgery
  • Experience with or interest in laparoscopic and robotic living donor procedures
  • Interest in developing and growing a pancreas transplant program
  • BLS and ACLS certification
