Job Summary:

Mission Children's is seeking a pediatric critical care provider to join our team in Asheville, NC.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Must be board-certified in pediatric critical care
Position Highlights:
  • Strong support within a comprehensive pediatric subspecialist team, including pediatric hospitalists and intensivists
  • 5  Physician PICU team
  • 4 Week Rotating Schedule
  • Blend of PICU; Sedation & Night Call (from home)
  • 9 bed PICU
  • 19 dedicated pediatric beds
  • 51 Level III NICU beds

About Mission Children’s:
  • We are the only Children's Hospital in Western North Carolina
  • We have over 60 pediatric subspecialists in 23 different disciplines providing expert care in the childhood diseases, disorders and conditions they treat

  • Each year approximately 700 ill and premature newborns receive life-saving care in our level III 51-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Mission is a level II trauma center serving the 18 counties of western NC
