• Night shifts 5pm - 7am, seven days per week
• 95% adult patients, 5% pediatric patients -- 50% trauma cases
• Hospital-based acute care setting
• Always paired with supervising surgeon for guidance
• First assist for trauma and acute care surgery
• Daily rounding and ICU responsibilities
• Experience with trauma cases and emergency procedures required
