Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join our established practice at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, FL—a vibrant coastal town recognized as one of America’s best small-town main streets.
Practice Highlights- Level III NICU with 20 beds—the largest in the region
- 1,300+ annual deliveries with a daily census of 14
- 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage
- Renovated & expanded NICU (2023) featuring:
- 20 spacious bed spaces including 2 isolation rooms
- State-of-the-art equipment & centralized workspaces
- In-unit overnight sleep suite for neonatologists
- Advanced ventilation options: HFOV, HFJV, NAVA, SIMV, CPAP, HFNC, and iNO
- Dedicated NNP PICC team
- On-site pediatric subspecialties: surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology, anesthesia
- Full telehealth subspecialty support
- 24-hour neonatal transport system with nurse, RT, and NNP support
- 435-bed acute care facility
- Home to the region’s only Level III NICU
