Summary:

The Supervisor Monitor Technician assists the Director with daily operational duties of the units, scheduling, onboarding, 6-month conversations, interviewing, managing staff and coordinating care throughout the hospital working with multiple departments as well as outlying ministries. This role assists with management of financial and human resources to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards. This role provides feedback and assistance concerning staff development as well as associate performance and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support and input into hiring, firing and disciplinary/corrective action.
  • Assists in arbitrating differences as needed.
  • Identifies actual and potentially unsafe patient care practices, reports them in the designated manner, and suggests alternatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Evaluates and specifies the critical resources required to accomplish the team's objectives.

Healthcare Regulatory Environment

  • Monitors regulatory compliance of all healthcare practices in preparation for external audits to ensure no violations.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

  • Associate’s Degree required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in leadership or related field preferred

Experience

  • 4-6 years of healthcare experience preferred
  • 0-2 years of Lead or Supervisor experience preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

  • EKG Certification preferred
