Job Description
- 24-hour call coverage 2 weekends per month with 1 week clinic coverage monthly
- 7am - 5pm clinic hours during weekly coverage -- night call required
- 2 - 5 patient encounters expected per shift
- 20-minute call response time -- 1:3 call ratio
- Core procedures include cardiac bypass, valve repair/replacement, and aneurysm repair
- Thoracic and endoscopic surgery skills preferred
- Both inpatient and outpatient rounding required
- Phone consultations part of regular duties
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
- We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
- We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
- Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
