Cardiologist — Inpatient/Outpatient Position (Goodyear, AZ)

Join a growing cardiology program in Goodyear, AZ, providing both inpatient and outpatient care at the Advanced Cardiovascular Center and affiliated hospitals. This full-time, permanent position offers a Monday–Friday clinic schedule with one week per month of practice call (no ER call). Start date: ASAP.

Clinical scope

• Adult patient population with a typical inpatient census and outpatient clinic volume.
• General cardiology focus emphasizing noninvasive and diagnostic cardiac procedures.
• Responsibilities include inpatient rounds, consults, follow-ups, diagnostic evaluations, interpretation of EKGs, echocardiograms, TEEs, stress tests, and performance/interpretation of diagnostic cardiac catheterization.
• Collaborate with APPs and specialty colleagues (interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, vascular medicine) to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Team and facility

• Practice embedded within hospital and outpatient settings; standardized EMR within the Advanced Cardiovascular Center.
• Specialty backup available; team includes 3 APPs supporting 2 physicians.
• Reporting to the Medical Director, Advanced Cardiovascular Center.
• Opening due to program growth and expanding patient volume.

Qualifications and compliance

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (certificate required within 5 years of residency).
• Active DEA, ACLS and BLS (AHA).
• Arizona medical license or IMLC eligibility required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-training experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EKG, echocardiography, TEE, stress testing, and diagnostic cardiac catheterization.
• Credentialing timeline: 60–90 days.
• Visa: J-1 eligible; H-1B not available.
