We’re seeking a locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician to help cover inpatient and ED shifts in Kenansville, NC from December 16–30, 2025. This is clinical-only coverage with 12-hour shifts; expected patient volume is about 80 in the ED and 47 inpatients, with roughly 27,000 annual ED visits and about 11 daily admissions. The department has 15 beds and uses Epic for charting.
Shift needs:
- Dec 23: 7:30 pm–7:30 am
- Dec 25: 7:30 am–7:30 pm
- Dec 26: 7:30 pm–7:30 am
- Dec 27: 7:30 pm–7:30 am
What’s provided:
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
