Adelphi is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver school-based services for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) at a Pre-K–12 school in Frankfort, Kentucky. The clinician will provide evaluations, develop and implement IEP-aligned treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and interpreters to support the functional mobility, participation, and independence of deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist license valid in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (mandatory)
  • Resume documenting relevant education and school-based PT experience (mandatory)
  • Copies of degrees, certifications, and licensure (mandatory)
  • Successful completion of required background checks per KRS 160.380
    Preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of school-based physical therapy experience serving multiple age levels

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide PT services as specified in each student’s IEP
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations to determine eligibility and service needs; submit written evaluation reports within 30 days of referral
  • Develop IEP-aligned goals, service recommendations, and individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver on-campus therapy across Pre-K–12 grade levels and maintain timely quarterly progress reports
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student documentation, treatment logs, and reports in accordance with KDE expectations and FERPA
  • Participate in ARC/IEP meetings and communicate regularly with teachers, interpreters, supervisors, and other KSD staff
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and accessible therapeutic environment for deaf and hard-of-hearing learners
  • Adhere to KDE data security, nondiscrimination, and other relevant regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
