**Assignment Details**
- Dates:
- 12/24 at 12:00p → 12/29 at 7a
- 12/31 at 12:00p → 01/05 at 7a
- Coverage: 24-hour call only (flat rate; includes all call-back hours)
- Setting: Hospital call + weekend inpatient GI
- Clinic/Outpatient: May include outpatient GI; internal medicine background required
- Case volume: ~8 procedures per weekend
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma: No trauma designation
- Support: Lab and X-ray onsite
- Travel: Lodging capped at ~$150/night; standard/economy airfare only

**Clinical Details**
- Esophageal dilation
- Esophageal manometry + interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Liver biopsy
- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
- EUS
- Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery/laser, injection of varices, banding of varices)
- ERCP (diagnostic + therapeutic)
- PEG placement

**Requirements**
- VA license
- Board certified
- Flu shot
- COVID vaccine (preferred)
- Clean malpractice history (required for temp privileges)
- Must be able to perform ERCP (no exceptions)
- Must be available for all listed dates
- Estimated credentialing: 90 days

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
