Travel Contract Physical Therapist (PT) — Bradford, PA (13-Week)

We’re looking for a Physical Therapist to join a team in Bradford, PA on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule and offers competitive pay (Travel: $1,775/35-hours; Local: $1,750/35-hours).

What we need from you:

• A valid, active Physical Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll evaluate patients thoroughly—reviewing medical histories and collaborating with other clinicians—to identify needs and set clear rehabilitation goals. From there you’ll design and carry out individualized treatment plans: exercise programs to build strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination; hands-on techniques like joint mobilization and soft tissue work; and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and thermal therapies to manage pain and promote healing.

You’ll also:

• Teach patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, safe body mechanics, and injury prevention.
• Train patients in the safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Create home exercise programs to support continued recovery.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate care.
• Uphold ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards while being culturally responsive to diverse patient needs.
• Take on other duties assigned by management as needed.
