Requirements

• Active RN license in state of practice
• Prior experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, or obstetrics preferred
• Current BLS and NRP; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-education skills

Primary responsibilities

• Continuously monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
• Provide labor support, assist with deliveries, and manage postpartum care
• Administer medications and clinical interventions; perform postpartum assessments
• Instruct and support mothers and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery
• Accurately document patient care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
