Requirements

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

Core Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to establish patient needs
• Develop and document individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals
• Design and implement exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination
• Deliver hands-on interventions (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, manual stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Apply therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate
• Instruct and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs)
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Create and teach personalized home exercise programs to support recovery
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress and outcomes
• Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respond to diverse patient needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
