Join a progressive care team in Herrin, IL, on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This night-shift position offers $2,560 for a 36-hour block and is ideal for an experienced RN comfortable in step-down or critical care environments.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Progressive care, step-down, or critical care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS preferred

Core responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor patient condition and vital signs; recognize and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions safely and accurately
• Escalate care and coordinate with the team when patient status warrants
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans and self-management
• Maintain precise documentation and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
