Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (Night Shift) — Herrin, IL (36-hr Contract)

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a Progressive Care Unit team in Herrin, IL. This is a night shift contract/travel role starting ASAP, offering $2,560 for a 36-hour assignment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Keep a close eye on patient conditions and vital signs, recognizing subtle changes quickly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions safely and on schedule.
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate care appropriately when needed.
• Teach patients and families about care plans and ongoing health management.
• Accurately document care and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in progressive care, step-down, or critical care is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred.
