- Start: January 1, 2026
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7a–7a
- Shifts per month: 6.5
- Coverage Type: Inpatient + Call
- Call: In-house, 24/7
- Telehealth: Not required
- Supervision of APPs: Not required
- Exam Rooms: OBED with 8 beds
- Imaging: Available
- Lab/Pharmacy: Available
- Daily Volume: OBED averages 1,389 visits per year; approximately 463 deliveries per year
- MFM: Available on call
- GYN Duties: None
- EMR: Epic
- Permanent Interest: Required for all submissions (locum-to-perm attestation)

**Clinical Details**
- OBED patients
- Emergency deliveries, including vaginal and C-section
- Patients without established OBGYN
- Manages maternity transports (only transport team in Iowa)

**Requirements**
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active IA license or active IMLC
- Clean malpractice and background
- No supervision responsibilities required
- No telehealth responsibilities required

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
