Job Description
- Full-time cardiologist position in southern Georgia
- Guaranteed salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus equal to 100% of practice profits
- Robust team with support from two board-certified cardiologists and nurse practitioners; practice walking distance to hospital
- Clinic Monday"Friday, 8 a.m."5 p.m.
- Call required 7 days per month, with additional compensation for extra call
- Opportunity to precept medical students and residents in an active teaching environment
- Modern medical education center with simulation labs
- Open to both non-invasive and invasive general cardiologists
- Broad diagnostic and procedural cardiology services, including:
Echocardiogram and transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE)
Cardiac catheterization
Pacemaker and ICD insertion
Loop recorder placement and cardioversion
Stress testing
Cardiac CT and cardiac MRI
Carotid studies
Advanced cardiology equipment:
Stress testing: GE Myospect Nuclear Camera, Quinton Q Stress/Treadmill systems
Cath/IR: GE Optima CL323i Cath/IR lab, GE Mac Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System
Echo: GE Vivid E95 with TEE 4D probe, Philips Epic 7 with TEE probe
- Physicians lounge with provided meals, 24-hour employee gym
