Job Description
**Why This Role**
- Ongoing weekday-only call coverage with no weekend responsibility
- Established GI program with hospitalist support and ERCP volume
- Predictable scheduling blocks extending through 2026
**Assignment Details**
- Ongoing locum coverage through 2026
- Monday 7am through Friday 7pm call coverage
- Monday–Thursday structured as 24-hour call, Friday daytime coverage only
- Specific coverage blocks available throughout the year
**Clinical Details**
- Inpatient consult and call coverage
- ERCP required
- Hospitalist support in place
- Two colorectal surgeons in the community
- GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital
- Adult patient population
**Requirements**
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- ERCP required
- Active Michigan medical license
- IMLC accepted only when dates are 60+ days out with proof of LOQ
- Active DEA by start date
- Clean malpractice history required
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
