We’re seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Clinton, North Carolina. This is supplemental clinical coverage in a busy 22-bed ED with an open ICU and an annual volume of about 32,000 visits.

Shift & Coverage Details

• Coverage period: January 20–March 27, 2026
• Shift pattern: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Dates needing coverage: Jan 20, 23, 25; Feb 1; Mar 23, 24, 25, 26
• Patient volume: department sees ~90–100 patients per day; expect 18–20 patients per 12-hr shift per provider
• Admissions: yes
• EMR: Meditech 6.1
• Support: 1 physician and 2 APPs on staff

Requirements

• Active NC medical license
• Board certified or board eligible (if BE, within 3 years of residency)
• DEA with NC address
