Requirements:
- Active RN license in state of practice
- Perioperative/Operating Room experience preferred
- BLS required
- CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and effective communication
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, instruments, supplies, and OR environment for surgical cases
- Serve as circulating nurse or scrub nurse as assigned; assist surgical team during procedures
- Monitor patient condition, administer medications per protocol, and maintain sterile technique
- Accurately document perioperative care and ensure compliance with facility policies and protocols
- Provide patient and family education regarding pre- and post-operative care
