Schedule: Monday–Friday, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM (35 hours/week)
Rate: Travel: $2,244/35-hrs; Local: $2,212/35-hrs

Required credentials

  • Valid, active Physical Therapy state license
  • CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (includes AED)

Primary responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to determine patient needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Deliver hands-on interventions (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, manual stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold therapy) for pain control, inflammation reduction, and tissue healing.
  • Instruct and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) to maximize safe mobility.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and implement pain management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques.
  • Assist patients in regaining independence following surgery, injury, or illness.
  • Monitor, document, and update patient progress; modify treatment plans as clinically indicated.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team members to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatments, progress notes, status changes).
  • Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respond to diverse patient needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
