Join our team in Bedford, NH for a 13-week contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This position follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule. Compensation: Travel rate $1,995/35-hours; Local rate $1,967/35-hours.

Required credentials:

  • Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
  • CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED)

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough physical assessments, review medical histories, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to identify patient needs.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and deliver therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to support pain relief and tissue healing.
  • Instruct patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and provide education on body mechanics and ergonomics.
  • Develop and implement pain management strategies combining exercises, modalities, and manual therapy.
  • Support patients in regaining independence after surgery, injury, or illness to improve function and quality of life.
  • Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress; maintain accurate clinical records including assessments and progress notes.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team members to optimize outcomes.
  • Provide individualized home exercise programs and patient/family education focused on prevention and self-management.
  • Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in patient care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
