We’re looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join a 13-week contract in Lancaster, PA, starting ASAP. This is a full-time role with hours from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Travel pay is $1,995/35-hours and local pay is $1,967/35-hours.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform thorough evaluations: review medical histories, assess mobility and function, and collaborate with the care team to understand each patient’s needs.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals for rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Design and lead therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use hands-on techniques—joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching—to improve mobility and relieve pain.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to reduce pain and support tissue healing.
  • Instruct patients in proper use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and ensure safe mobility.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and implement pain management strategies combining exercise, modalities, and manual therapy.
  • Support patients in regaining independence after surgery, injury, or illness, focusing on quality of life and functional outcomes.
  • Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting plans as needed to meet goals.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
  • Provide personalized home exercise programs to encourage continued recovery between sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records—assessments, treatments, progress notes, and any changes in condition.
  • Uphold ethical and legal standards, maintain patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Active, valid Physical Therapy state license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
