We’re looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Claremont, NH on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows a regular day schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and is open to travel or local candidates. Pay is competitive: Travel: $1,505/35-hours; Local: $1,484/35-hours.

What you’ll need

  • Valid, active Physical Therapy state license.
  • Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).

What you’ll do

  • Perform thorough physical assessments, review medical histories, and collaborate with the care team to identify patient needs.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable rehab goals.
  • Design and lead therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use hands-on techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to support pain relief and tissue healing.
  • Instruct patients on safe use of assistive devices—crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs—to enhance mobility and independence.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and adjust pain-management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques.
  • Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness to improve overall quality of life.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress, revising plans of care as needed.
  • Provide tailored home exercise programs to support continued recovery outside the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and changes in condition.
  • Follow ethical and legal standards, including confidentiality and informed consent, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
