Schedule: Monday–Friday, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM (35 hours/week)
Rate: Travel: $1,505/35-hours; Local: $1,484/35-hours

Requirements:

  • Active, valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license
  • Current CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) with AED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical histories to determine patient needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with specific, measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Deliver manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply physical modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as indicated to manage pain and promote healing.
  • Instruct and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) to maximize safe mobility.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Implement pain-management strategies using therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.
  • Facilitate rehabilitation to restore independence after surgery, injury, or illness.
  • Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
  • Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members.
  • Provide clear home exercise programs to support continued recovery.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatments, progress notes, condition changes).
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care and accommodate diverse patient needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
