Description

We are currently seeking a full-time MD specializing in Addiction Medicine to join our dedicated team. This physician will play a vital role in helping patients recover from substance use disorders by offering compassionate, evidence-based care. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and preventing addiction, utilizing medications to manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings, and providing comprehensive support throughout the recovery process and suboxone when appropriate. This clinician can also practice primary care (FP or IM) if desired in addition to the addiction medicine role.

Position Highlights:

  • Flexible schedule Monday--Friday, 8-hour or four 10-hour days per week
  • Participation in family medicine call rotation, limited to telephone-only coverage if doing primary care.
  • Average daily patient volume: approximately 18-22 patients

Requirements:

ABAM "Lifetime Certificate" or Fellowship in Addiction Medicine and successful completion of certification. Will also consider applicants without this certification if they have significant clinical expertise and experience.
