Lutheran Medical Group in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy training to join a thriving, hospital-employed gastroenterology practice.

Opportunity Overview
  • Hospital-employed gastroenterology practice with an established referral base
  • Join a collaborative team of five general gastroenterologists, one advanced gastroenterologist, two GI hospitalists, and experienced Advanced Practice Providers
  • Advanced endoscopy-focused position with opportunities to perform ERCP, EUS, and other specialized procedures
  • Dedicated office and procedure time with block scheduling for endoscopy
  • Primarily practice at one hospital with outreach opportunities to surrounding communities
  • Leadership support within a growing gastroenterology service line
  • Opportunities to participate in clinical research and trials
Position Highlights
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care
  • High-volume practice with strong referral network throughout Northeast Indiana
  • State-of-the-art endoscopy facilities with dedicated block time
  • Perform advanced therapeutic procedures including:
    • ERCP
    • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
    • Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary environment with experienced APP support
  • Dedicated office, nursing, and procedural support to maximize efficiency and patient care
