Join a 14-week contract assignment in Piscataway, NJ, starting ASAP. This full-time role (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) offers competitive travel and local rates (Travel: $2,121/35 hrs; Local: $2,090/35 hrs).

Requirements:

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, including AED)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, review medical history, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to identify patient needs.
• Develop goal-oriented, individualized treatment plans and adjust them based on progress.
• Design and deliver therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and mobility.
• Provide manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching) and apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as clinically indicated.
• Instruct and fit patients in appropriate assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Implement pain management strategies using therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.
• Support functional recovery and independence following surgery, injury, or illness to enhance quality of life.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress; maintain accurate records of assessments, treatments, and changes in condition.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
