Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Rate: Travel: $2,232 / 36 hrs; Local: $2,200 / 36 hrs

Minimum requirements:

  • Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
  • CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED)

Core responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to determine patient needs.
  • Develop and document individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and deliver therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and functional mobility.
  • Apply manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Use physical modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate for pain control and tissue healing.
  • Instruct and fit patients in assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and train safe use.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress and response to therapy.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Develop and implement pain management strategies using therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.
  • Support patient independence and functional recovery following surgery, injury, or illness.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, interventions, progress notes, condition changes) and obtain informed consent.
  • Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards and demonstrate cultural sensitivity/responsiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
