Rate: Travel $2,121/35 hrs; Local $2,090/35 hrs

Requirements:

• Valid, active Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, includes AED)

Core responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to determine patient needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
• Use manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to control pain, inflammation, and promote healing.
• Instruct patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment plan, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Create and prescribe personalized home exercise programs to support recovery.
• Assess and document patient progress; modify treatment plans as indicated.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatments, progress notes, status changes).
• Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards and obtain informed consent.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and provide equitable care to diverse populations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
