Join a 13-week contract opportunity in Claremont, NH, starting ASAP. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $1,505/35 hrs; Local rate $1,484/35 hrs.

Required qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapy state license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

Core responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical histories to determine patient needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate care.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Employ manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
  • Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to support pain relief and tissue healing.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on assistive device use (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and safe mobility strategies.
  • Provide patient and family education on condition management, ergonomics, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
  • Create and prescribe personalized home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
  • Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
  • Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a patient-centered approach to restore function and independence.
