We’re looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The position starts ASAP with a typical schedule of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

What we need from you

  • A valid Physical Therapy license for the practicing state(s), or proof of eligibility.
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; OR a Master’s in a related field plus a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy; OR a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with at least 5 years of PT experience.
  • A valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supervise PT assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support staff in line with state licensure rules and professional standards.
  • Keep to department and patient treatment schedules, complete clinical and billing documentation on time, and participate in work-related meetings.
  • Take part in patient care and staffing conferences and refer patients to other disciplines or agencies when appropriate.
  • Work with the rehabilitation team to choose and adapt therapeutic regimens that meet each patient’s needs.
  • Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, set goals, and create documented treatment plans.
  • Deliver a wide range of interventions, including therapeutic exercises (aerobic, balance, coordination, strength, flexibility), functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance, integumentary repair, electrotherapeutic and mechanical modalities, health and wellness education, chronic disease management, fall-risk assessment/intervention, and case management.
  • Select activities suited to each patient’s physical and mental abilities and teach mobility skills, monitoring progress and behavior.
  • Perform routine reexaminations to modify or advance treatment plans and incorporate health and wellness programming as appropriate.
  • Conduct home and community mobility assessments and offer practical safety recommendations.
  • Order, maintain, and clean supplies and equipment; report repair needs.
  • Promote a safe environment by identifying and addressing fire and safety hazards.
  • Ensure patients and families receive compassionate, high-quality service.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
