**Assignment Details**
- Coverage type: Call only
- Start date: June 1, 2026
- End date: Ongoing
- Schedule: In-house 24-hour shifts from 5am–5am
- Minimum availability: At least 7 shifts per month
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Patients per shift: Approximately 38
- Beds in department: 52
- Call type: In-house
- Call response time: 10–15 minutes
- EMR: Epic

**Clinical Details**
- Level IV NICU coverage
- Rounding, care planning, and Epic documentation
- Attendance at high-risk deliveries and perinatal consults
- Invasive and non-invasive ventilation management including iNO
- Chest tube insertion, exchange transfusions, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Circumcisions required
- Daytime NP onsite with nighttime NP call support
- CV surgery cases referred out

**Requirements**
- Board certified neonatologist
- Active Texas medical license and DEA required
- NRP required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred
- No supervision of advanced practice providers required

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
