**Assignment Details**
- Start date: ASAP (April target)
- Ongoing coverage
- 24-hour in-house shifts (7a–7a)
- Providers may not work more than two consecutive 24-hour shifts
- In-house call with dedicated call rooms available
- Inpatient only
- No telehealth
- EMR: Epic
- Facility is not accepting local Des Moines providers

**Clinical Details**
- OBED-focused hospitalist coverage
- Emergent OB patients including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Care for patients without a primary OB/GYN
- Approximately 1,389 OBED visits annually, with ~463 resulting in deliveries
- Eight-bed OB Emergency Department
- MFM on call for support
- Residents present, but OB hospitalist is not responsible for supervision
- No gynecologic responsibilities

**Requirements**
- Board Certified OB/GYN (will consider truly Board Eligible candidates)
- Active Iowa license strongly preferred or active IMLC
- Ability to start ASAP (April target)
- Clean malpractice and background
- NPDB self-query required at submission

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel & Lodging: Reimbursed
