We’re looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to join a team in Moses Lake, WA, on a 14-week contract (travel or local) starting ASAP. The schedule is full-time: Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Pay is competitive: Travel rate $2,383/36 hours; Local rate $2,347/36 hours.

What we need

  • Valid, active Physical Therapy state license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (must include AED).

What you’ll be doing

  • Perform thorough physical assessments, review medical histories, and collaborate with the care team to pinpoint patient needs.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with clear rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and lead exercise programs to build strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use hands-on techniques—joint mobilization, soft-tissue work, manual stretching—to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to support pain control and tissue healing.
  • Teach patients how to use assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) safely and effectively.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on conditions, home programs, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and adjust pain-management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual therapy.
  • Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness to improve their quality of life.
  • Track and document progress, updating treatment plans as patients improve or needs change.
  • Communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
  • Provide tailored home exercise plans to support recovery outside the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments, treatments, and progress notes while following legal and ethical standards, including confidentiality and informed consent.
  • Deliver culturally sensitive care and adapt approaches to meet diverse patient needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
