Join a 14-week contract assignment in Watchung, NJ, starting ASAP. Full-time schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel: $2,244/35 hrs; Local: $2,212/35 hrs.

Requirements:

• Active Physical Therapy state license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED).

Role overview:
Provide patient-centered physical therapy across the continuum of care. Perform thorough evaluations, develop goal-driven treatment plans, and deliver individualized interventions to restore function and promote independence.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, review medical history, and coordinate with the care team to define patient needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable short- and long-term goals.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching), and functional training to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and mobility.
• Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat and cold as appropriate.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on assistive device use, safe body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Develop pain management strategies and customized home exercise programs to support recovery.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, revising plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, adhere to ethical and legal standards, obtain informed consent, and respect patient confidentiality.
• Practice cultural sensitivity and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
