Rate: Travel $1,701/35 hrs; Local $1,677/35 hrs

Required credentials

• Active Physical Therapy state license
• CPR/BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross with AED)

Primary responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to establish patient needs.
• Develop and document individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and progress therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
• Deliver manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as indicated.
• Instruct and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Create and provide home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
• Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Communicate and coordinate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to optimize care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and adhere to legal and ethical standards, including confidentiality and informed consent.
• Provide culturally sensitive care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
