PRN General Medicine Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Compensation & Pension Exams (Tuba City, AZ)

We’re looking for a General Medicine Nurse Practitioner to provide supplemental outpatient coverage in northern and southeastern Arizona. This is a clinical-only, PRN opportunity with flexible half-day and full-day shifts — perfect if you want predictable, on‑going work without a permanent relocation.

Where you’ll work

• Primary locations: Tuba City/Chinle, Nogales, Safford, and Payson, AZ
• Typical on-site cadence:
  • Tuba City/Chinle: 1 day/week
  • Nogales: 2 days/week
  • Safford: 2 days/week
  • Payson: half day/week

Schedule & scope

• Coverage period: ASAP – ongoing
• Shift types: PRN (as‑needed); half day (up to 4 hours) or full day (4–8 hours)
• Focus: Compensation & Pension Exams and Separation Health Assessments
• Clinical-only role: exams are primarily interview-based with some focused physical assessment (range of motion, muscle strength testing)
• No prescribing and no treatment responsibilities

What we need from you

• Active Arizona NP license
• AANP certification
• DMA certification, or willingness to obtain it
• Must carry your own office (private workspace for documenting and telework)
• Own personal laptop required (no Macs/Apple devices)
• Ability to perform METs testing and to evaluate/diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Must be located within 50 miles of the assigned location
• NPDB report required
