Requirements:

• Active Washington physical therapy license

Primary responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ gross motor skills and develop/implement PT plans to improve independence and mobility.
• Provide interventions for positioning, balance, transfer training, gait, and functional mobility to enhance safety and participation.
• Assess, recommend, and fit adaptive equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, seating systems) and document recommendations.
• Train school staff and caregivers in safe handling, transfers, and positioning techniques to protect students and staff.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and transportation staff to ensure accessible, equitable participation in classrooms, activities, and transit.
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and IEP-related reporting in accordance with school policies and standards of care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
