Job Description
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and respected private practice supporting Piedmont Medical Center, a growing and dynamic health system in the heart of the Charlotte Metro area. We welcome candidates that have experience and interest in ERCP and/or EUS capability, or a physician interested in developing and expanding advanced endoscopy services within the practice.
Position Highlights:
- Established, busy gastroenterology practice
- Immediate patient volume and referral base
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
- Dedicated endoscopy time
- Supportive clinical and administrative team
- Advanced endoscopy opportunities available
- Hospital coverage rotates among GI partners and call would be 1:8
- Collegial atmosphere with a team committed to clinical excellence
- Group has ownership in an ambulatory surgery center, which is right next-door to their office
Preferred Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
- Experience performing ERCP and/or EUS preferred
- Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed but not required
- Strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
