We’re seeking a locum OB/GYN to provide call-only coverage in Flagstaff, Arizona. This position is a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, focused on 24-hour beeper call coverage. Shifts run 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and coverage is needed on specific weekend blocks between April and June 2026.

• June 19–21, 2026

What you’ll be doing

• Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage (beeper response as clinically required)
• Manage labor & delivery patients, including approximately 13 deliveries per shift
• Handle emergency obstetric and gynecologic procedures
• Admit and round on patients as clinically appropriate; manage inpatient OB/GYN consults
• Perform required gynecologic procedures and collaborate closely with nursing and hospital teams
• Document all encounters and procedures in Cerner

Patient mix and volume

• Adult patients
• Case mix includes general obstetrics and gynecology, with labor and delivery and inpatient care
• Expected volume: roughly 13 deliveries per shift

Facility and support

• Large multispecialty hospital with 268 beds and an Adult Level II/IV Trauma Center
• Standard labor, delivery, and surgical equipment available
• Strong specialty backup and hospital clinical staff for support
• EMR: Cerner

Privileges, credentialing, and reason for coverage

• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges TBD
• Credentialing timeline approximately 15–20 days
• This is supplemental locum coverage

Compensation and benefits

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered per facility guidelines

Requirements

• Active Arizona license or IMLC eligibility
• BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• DEA required
• Minimum of 1 year OB/GYN experience
• Ability to independently manage obstetric and gynecologic call coverage
