Job Summary:

Medical City Plano is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide high-quality, evidence-based midwifery care in a hospital setting. This role encompasses comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care, with privileges to perform clinically-relevant procedures under indirect physician supervision.

 

Qualified Candidates: 

  • Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited midwifery program
  • Certified Nurse Midwife certification
  • Active, unrestricted Texas RN and APRN license
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Demonstrated competency or willingness to complete ultrasound training and required proctoring
  • Comfortable working in a hospital labor and delivery environment
  • Commitment to patient education and family-centered care
