Licensed Clinical Social Worker — Correctional Mental Health (North Carolina)

Adelphi is looking for a licensed clinical social worker to join our team providing mental health services to offenders housed in correctional institutions across North Carolina, including Nashville, NC. This contract role is clinical and on-site, with an ongoing assignment; full-time is preferred, though part-time will be considered. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct initial mental health assessments and comprehensive psychosocial evaluations for offenders in custody.
• Provide individual and group therapy tailored to the varied needs of the population.
• Take part in behavioral programming and develop aftercare plans that support reentry and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the HERO electronic health record system, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate care by collaborating with correctional staff and external treatment agencies.
• Follow facility security procedures, clinical policies, documentation standards, and professional ethics.

What we’re looking for:

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina LCSW license in good standing.
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience.
• Experience with correctional settings or public behavioral health systems is preferred.
