Travel RN – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Nursery (Sweetwater, TX)

Type: Contract/Travel — Start: ASAP — Location: Sweetwater, TX — Shift: Days — Rate: $1,930 / 36 hours

Scope: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Experience in L&D, postpartum, or nursery nursing preferred
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-education skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and labor progress
• Assist with labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care/transition
• Perform newborn assessments and administer prescribed medications and interventions
• Provide family education on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding
• Accurately document care and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team
