Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Compensation: Travel: $2,121/35 hrs; Local: $2,090/35 hrs

Requirements:

  • Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
  • CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED-trained)

Position overview:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to perform evaluations and deliver individualized treatment to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. The ideal candidate will create goal-driven rehabilitation plans, provide hands-on and modality-based interventions, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to restore function and independence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and review medical histories to determine patient needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Prescribe and instruct therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination
  • Deliver manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain
  • Utilize modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to manage pain and inflammation and promote healing
  • Instruct and fit patients with assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and train for safe use
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention
  • Create and progress home exercise programs to support continuity of care
  • Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress and outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records and adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards
  • Provide culturally sensitive care and adapt interventions to meet diverse patient needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
