Requirements:

• Valid, active Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross with AED)

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations: review medical history, assess function and mobility, collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
• Design and progress therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
• Apply manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Utilize modalities as appropriate (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to treat pain, inflammation, and tissue healing.
• Instruct and train patients in use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plan, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Develop and modify pain management strategies using exercises, modalities, and manual interventions.
• Facilitate functional recovery and independence after surgery, injury, or illness.
• Create and prescribe home exercise programs and document patient progress; adjust plans based on outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team members.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
