Rate: Travel: $2,317 / 35 hours; Local: $2,282 / 35 hours

Minimum qualifications

• Valid, active Physical Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (including AED).

Core responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations: review medical history, assess mobility, strength, balance, coordination, pain, ROM, functional status.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with specific, measurable goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions: therapeutic exercise, stretching, strengthening, balance/coordination training, functional mobility and gait training.
• Apply manual therapies and modalities as appropriate: joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, manual stretching, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold.
• Provide assistive-device training (crutches, cane, walker, wheelchair) and make equipment recommendations.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
• Monitor and document patient progress; modify plans based on outcomes and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate and communicate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation: evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent.
• Provide culturally sensitive care appropriate to patient needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
