Join a 14-week contract/travel opportunity in Chambersburg, PA, starting ASAP. Schedule: Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $1,995/35 hrs; Local rate $1,967/35 hrs.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

Position overview:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services across the continuum of care. Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver hands-on and modality-based interventions to restore function, reduce pain, and promote independence.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and review medical histories to identify patient needs and establish measurable rehabilitation goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adjusting interventions based on progress and outcomes
• Design therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination
• Apply manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) to enhance mobility and relieve pain
• Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold therapy as appropriate
• Instruct patients and caregivers on assistive device use (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and safe body mechanics
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress; maintain accurate, timely clinical records
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to optimize care
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards while providing culturally sensitive care
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
